Low Alloy Steel

4340

4340 alloy steel is a heat treatable and low alloy steel containing chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, mainly used in power transmission gears and shafts, aircraft landing gear, and other structural parts. It has high toughness and strength in the heat-treated condition and can be hardened up to >53HRC.

Tritone 4340 shows great strength without loss of toughness, with the built-in advantages of the MoldJet technology.
