3Y Zirconia

3% Yttria-stabilized zirconia (3Y-TZP) is a high-performance ceramic material known for its exceptional mechanical properties and versatility. Unlike standard ceramics that tend to be brittle and hard, 3Y-TZP Zirconia has excellent wear resistance and strength, and comes with a flexibility which is far better than those of other technical ceramics. Tritone Zirconia shows high fracture toughness and flexural strength, with the built-in printing versatility of the MoldJet technology.
Zirconia is a white material commonly used to produce dental frameworks for dental substructures such as crowns, bridges, etc. Additional applications are decorative, such as watches and jewelry.

Alumina

Aluminum Oxide (Alumina, Al2O3) is the most versatile engineered ceramic because of its high temperature service limit along with its chemical, electrical and mechanical properties. It is very hard and wear resistant, with high compressive strength even against extreme temperatures and corrosive environments along with electrical insulation and gas tight properties. Common applications include spark plugs, tap washers, abrasion resistant tiles, and cutting tools.
Tritone Alumina shows good compressive strength, with the built-in advantages of the MoldJet technology.

SILICON CARBIDE

Silicon Carbide (SiC) is a ceramic with superior heat resistance maintaining high mechanical strength in temperatures of up 1400° C. SiC is known for its extreme hardness, good fatigue resistance, high thermal conductivity, low coefficient of thermal expansion and resistance to corrosion.
SiC is used in various industrial applications, such as Armor, jewellery making, production of abrasives, optics and semiconductors.
